City staff posts releases on its web site days after the release

In an open and transparent government, you would expect press releases to be posted on the day they are written - and not five or six days later.  It is good that staff members are posting the press releases, but releases posted in a more timely manner would be more beneficial to citizens who desire to attend meetings.

MEETINGS

In an open and transparent government you would expect that ALL meetings are held in a facility where everyone can hear and see our elected and appointed officials. There should also be plenty of seating for anyone who cares to attend.

DOCUMENTS
By law, all of the documents for a Council meeting must be made to the public at the same time they are made to Council.  In an open and transparent government you would expect to see links to supporting documents posted with the Council's agenda.
