  1. Who serves on the Western Tidewater Water Authority?
  2. How often does this group meet?
  3. Where does this group meet?
  4. Where can we find copies of their minutes?
  5. Why did our elected officials agree to have secret meetings about this long-term commitment of citizen dollars?
  6. What is the reasoning to buy the water now without any public hearings or comments from citizens?
  7. Are we paying for water capacity or for water we will actually need and use?

I think it's a bit high for things information that should have been readily handy.  The city charged $381.34 to provide this information.  Look at the invoice to see what was included in the charges.

The Water Deal Agreement

Here's the actual document that our City Council will consider and vote on.  Remember that our mayor has already had a drink of the toasting water with Mayor Fraim and the team from Isle of Wight.

 

Why does it look like the deal has been made when citizens didn't know about it - and when Council hasn't yet voted on it?
